How to help the horses from Hurricane Katrina?

My 4-H club kids want to do something for the horses and other animals displaced by the hurricane. The only idea I came up with was coffee cans (we did that to raise money for the PMU horses) at local businesses. Any ideas are most welcome! Happy Trails!

Good for you!

One thing you can do now is to collect the Omolene Buy Two- Get Two Free coupons that came in everyone's Horse & Rider, Equus, Western Horseman, or other magazines.

Those coupons will get katrina horses 100 pounds of free feed, and they do still need it! *** THanks for all your help! ****

They can be sent to:

You can see all of the horses they've rescued, and stories about their convoys of trailer loads of hay and grain at www.hopefulhaven.com

They are helping families with 358 horses!
