On my paint mare, she has blue outlining on the border of her spots. One girl at fair last year got these to stand out. She was also the girl that spray painted the white parts on her paint white for WP. But anyways..... how do you do it? I would love to make it stand out since it is sooo beautiful. Here are some pics.

It looks really blue cause she is wet. That is right after a bath. I can't do that at fair cause she will dry really fast and all of the dust in the arena would make her dirty.

Well she might have body clipped her horse to make it more defined. The spray on the white parts of her horse that she used is not "illegal" persay. You can also use babypowder on their white legs and even faces, or chaulk. They have sepecial stuff at the tack store you can use and buy for that. |

Maybe try shaving her close to the skin in those areas?

They have products made specifically to highlight the horses, depending on their color. And chalks, as well. As far as making the mapping [that's what it's called] stand out more, you could body shave her. |

I would only try to highlight it on the face. For example, my gelding, I shave his blaze every once and a while, and blend it into the body color. So you can see his mapping on his blaze. It also makes it easier to chalk, same with his sock, I clip it, and use the Shapleys white aerosal spray. It works really nice, and then I chalk over it. For the body all you could do would be clip the white, and blend it in with the other color. IMO, it would seem more of a hassle trying to clip all the white on your paint than anything.
