How to float a mini's teeth

How to float a 31 inch miniature's teeth:
Step 1: gather all available friends, as well as the farrier who is willing to take on the deed.
Step 2: surround mini with the people, and assign jobs:
A. Floater
B. Tongue grabber
C 1 and 2. Stop from rearing-ers
D. stop backward movement-er/chair
Step 3: Tongue grabber grab's tongue, and holds it to side, while others assume position, Rearing stoppers on either side, pushing on whithers, backward movement stopper pushed against mini's rear, leg under mini's bottom.
Step 4. Farrier floats teeth
A. Floater struggles while mini bites rasp, and inhibits the movement of rasp.
B. Tongue grabber struggles while mini attempts repeatedly to kick them in the face
C: push down with all their might, barely able to keep mini on ground
D: Braces self continuously on new person who has appeared. Also is holding back end of mini OFF ground
Step 5. pat mini once done, after treating all wounds caused by the rearing of said mini. Also, chase away all cars who have stopped on road to see how the poor mini was being abused.

Teehee, that is what we went through today, with TWO minis, teh smallest ones we got, and it took literally 6 ppl to float their teeth, ridiculous, eh?

Why didn't you just have him sedated? I'm sure it would have been much easier, safer, and less traumatic for the horse.

why would you put your horse through all that stress??? It's just the same to float a minis teeth as it is with a horse. You sedate them and have a VETERINARIAN do it and NOT a FARRIER!

our Farrier knows how, and the vets around here charge 100 dollars, adn its only those two minis, because they are freaks like that, BUT my farrier knows what he is doing

Still not worth it to cause them that much stress and danger when there are much easier ways to do it.
