I'm lucky I guess the amish do it for 10.00 to float 5.00 to extract teeth. They do a great job though, castrations are 20.00

I wish I was as cheap as some of you! lol It really depends on the shape of your horses teeth and how much needs to be done, but anywhere from $100 to $200.

125 if you take them to the vet, with power tools. 120-165 for a equine dentist, depending on the work that needs to be done, also 60 for the vet to come and sedate them

Haha! Yes... I am in CA too and everything is 2x expensive as anywhere else! (well it seems that way at least!)

I paid for a 1 year health maintenance package for $375.00 that included:
twice yearly exam
twice yearly vaccinations
all worming medication for the year
dental exam
teeth float
sedation

If I purchased all these seperately it was have come to more than $750.00 and the teeth float alone was $135.00 PLUS sedation and a $50.00 call fee, so I saved money right off the bat. I will do this each February as the plan seems to work for me.

$40. He is ex-Amish and just gifted with horses. He also does sheath cleaning for $15. Now that is money well spent.
