How much do you think Jet is worth?

Heyy guys I was just wondering how much my horse Jet is worth (Not selling, just wondering). She is a six year old gray Standardbred mare, 14.2 hands. Her sire is Jet Laag and her dam is Lace n' Jade. She is registered in the U.S. Trotter association and her show name is Jaded Jett. She has been saddle broken for about a year and a half and she can walk, trot, and back great. Nice flowing Hunter trot. We are beginning to jump and she loves it! I have no doubt that she will one day be a very good hunter jumper. She bathes, clips, loads, crossties, ground ties in the arena, and is working on some showmanship skills. We have competed successfully at several local shows, including sixth place in showmanship at the county fair. This is our first year of showing. Unfortunately, she hasn't quite got the cantering yet (she's a pacer) but with a little more time she will get it. She is very willing and not hyper at all (I usually ride with a crop or very dull spurs) and that's about it. Just ask if you need more information.

Because she doesn't canter yet and it's difficult to get a pacer to canter without serious retraining that's going to limit her. If I was looking at her to purchase, I'd probably offer 800. Her height doesn't market her well as she just missed the pony feild.

However if she's an unflappable trail horse that anyone could ride, you may be able to get 2 or 3k... quiet horses are worth their weight in gold.

She is very pretty! I would say $900-1100. Dead broke horses are going for so cheap where I live!

Oh yeah-I paid $800 for her as a half starved, untrained 4 year old. This is what she looked like when I bought the poor thing

Thanks! She has been through soo much I am so proud of her she was born premature and she had to have braces on her legs as a foal (thats why she has stubby legs and looks like a quarter...lol

Yea... you'd be suprised what a good trail horse is worth. And they're always sold. If Jet is dead quiet on the trail and you could trust her with anyone you def could market her as a trail horse when selling her. Truthfully it's all how you market a horse.

She is super cute... if she was 14.2 and cantered you'd have a very very valuable little horse... er pony.

Well see we aren't really sure because we have a tape measure thing and it measured her as 14.1 but it measured my best friend's mom's horse as 15.3 and he is taller than that so we are not really sure. I am five foot even so If you can tell how tall she actually is from the pics...haha i could always lose the shoes!!!! :P
