hmm i dont have a rescue well not really... he was being wasted in a paddock! hadnt been riden in like a year

My old mare bess was going to the doggers if she didnt get sold that day. I'm glad i got her because she turned out to be a great horse

I rescued a horse...he was an older TB gelding. After he was well he was sold again as I could not afford to keep him....but I saw him just a few weeks ago ( I know the people I sold him to) and he looks great!

I had one, my MIL actually rescued him, I got him from her, but I ended up selling him because we didn't get along. He was slow & dumb, I like hyper, smart and a challenge. He wasn't an abuse case, really a neglect case. We she bought him, he was skin&bones covered in and as a yearling he was still on him mom.


But if I had a place, I would do it again.

my rescue actually came from a local rescue stable, but they outbit the slaughter buyers for him at auction. i can't imagine my boy going to slaughter! he's young and healthy and ridable and everything!
