I've done twice now. The frist was a TB of the track he was such a angel, But I never got to keep him as my girlfriend fell in love and ask me if she could have him to do hunter jumper..... What Could I say but yes...
The second is this little girl from god... She is reg QH and is breed for western pleasure and Halter... But the owner never did anything with her.. She will be three years of age on April 17... I 've have had three weeks now.... She had feet done and all her shots.... I body clipped her to find all the scabby on her skin... My hubby has fallen in love with her calls her sweetpea...

Shenandoah was sort of a rescue- his owner said he was going to be put down if he didn't get sold/ adopted by the end of the month. He was only @ 7! Finally said "don't kill him; I'll take him." I got a phone call about a week later and was asked would I really take him. Would they really give him away, I asked. They said yes, I said ok. I had him for 17 yrs.
I paid $50 for an aged mare at an auction to keep the killers from getting her. She had not an extra pound of flesh on her. I flipped her immediately for lack of an inhand negative coggins to 2 guys with cattle. (She did have/get a negative coggins after all.) They kept her like a pet, had her neglected feet and teeth done, shots updated, turned her out w/ the cows, watched her make a bigger circle each day out of 'her' lil corner of the field. They kept her for a couple years before I lost track.
