How many of you sweat necks?

I'm putting this in grooming since sweating is largely cosmetic IMO...

How many of you sweat?

Just when showing? Do you keep them sweated down? How effective is it, really? Before and after pictures?

Allure inherited the Heff's thick throatlatch and it makes my face twitch. I'm considering sweating it (maybe just the throatlatch, maybe the whole neck) just for fun and to see what it looks like. Maybe I can sweat her fat head, too, give her 2.3 brain cells some breathing room among the lard deposits!

I voted yes only because that's the truth when it comes to showing. I've only sweated my yearlings neck because he is my show prospect (other 2 are barrel prospects). He has a pretty thick neck so i need to sweat it to refine it for shows

Before.

After.

Yes. Only for the stud colt though other wise he can get quite the thick neck, and its not very becoming on him

Ignore the fact that he was being a **** and chewing on his chain. Drives my mom nuts!
