    How long are coggins tests generally good for? I am wondering because I heard three years but that seems like WAY too long for it to be good for.....

    I think its 1 for shipping & showing & 2 in general, not shipping/ showing. Some places want it to be in the past six mos or same calendar year.

    if your showing or transporting across state lines they are good for one year

    My vet told me a coggins is good for 1 year and a health certificate is good for 30 days.
    I'm strong willed, independent, and outspoken. I make mistakes.. Too many to count. I am sometimes out of control and at times hard to handle - but if you can't handle me at my worst then you sure don't deserve me at my best.

    they are only good for one year. i always get mine done around march and then i get another one done next march lol

    The test itself is only good for the day the blood was drawn

    As for how recent it has to be for any given event, that depends on the event. Some places want a negative test within the last 6 months.
