| Senior Member+ | Yes, I would donate both. If you did donate, what would you prefer to have in return for it? A notable mention on the rescues website? A thank you letter or email? A Christmas card sent every year? etc etc. A christmas card would be nice...and a thank you note...I would also like updates on how club/org is doing What kind of organization would you be most likely to donate to? One restricted to horses, or a rescue also dealing with a variety of other animals in need of help? Both...I would do it for just horses, and, I would also cont. to other animals too. Would you ever consider lending a helping hand volunteering or even housing some animals that the rescue farm does not have room for? Yes Would you link this rescue to your own personal website or spread the news by word of mouth? Sure, I most def link it to my website, if I was aviat (sp) about this org. Would you be more likely to donate to a site that has many pictures and stories of the rescued animals than one that does not? I don't know. It would dep more on the area than anything. I would be more likely to support a place to helps the horses/animals closest to my area

| Senior Member+ | I have donated both money and supplies (tons of supplies) to small animal rescues and equine rescues. If you did donate, what would you prefer to have in return for it? A notable mention on the rescues website? A thank you letter or email? A Christmas card sent every year? etc etc. I personally don't expect anything in return, but a tax write off would be nice. What kind of organization would you be most likely to donate to? One restricted to horses, or a rescue also dealing with a variety of other animals in need of help? I would be a lot more likely to donate to orginizations that care about all animals. Would you ever consider lending a helping hand volunteering or even housing some animals that the rescue farm does not have room for? Definatly! Would you link this rescue to your own personal website or spread the news by word of mouth? mosty likely word of mouth, but probably both. Would you be more likely to donate to a site that has many pictures and stories of the rescued animals than one that does not? Yes Now, would you be less likely to donate to a rescue that was just starting out? I would definatly donate to rescues just starting out, but I agree with 3WD.

| Senior Member+ | IF i had the money, i would donate about $100 a mth and supplies if i could. If you did donate, what would you prefer to have in return for it? A notable mention on the rescues website? A thank you letter or email? A Christmas card sent every year? etc etc.-a thank you e-mail. save some paper on a letter or card.the more they save that way, the more money they can use for the animals. What kind of organization would you be most likely to donate to? One restricted to horses, or a rescue also dealing with a variety of other animals in need of help? probably mostly with a variety. don't get me wrong, but there are SOOOO many horses out there and other animals that would maybe have a better chance at finding a home as well. Would you ever consider lending a helping hand volunteering or even housing some animals that the rescue farm does not have room for?IF i had the money, i would def house some animals.i have actually thought about doing that after jason gets out of the army and we get our own property. Would you link this rescue to your own personal website or spread the news by word of mouth?probably both!! Would you be more likely to donate to a site that has many pictures and stories of the rescued animals than one that does not?probably so, b/c then i could ask about the progress of the animals, or if they post pics of them, that would be awesome to see what a little bit of care and money go a long way.

| Senior Member+ | To me, I would prefer to receive an email thank you or an update, I think while sending a thank you note via mail is a very sweet gesture, it DOES cost money (even if it is only minimal) and even the dollar spent to send the letter could be put to better uses. I know I would appreciate being added to a newsletter. |

One restricted to horses, or a rescue also dealing with a variety of other animals in need of help? Either, what I have extra of would be split into all rescues. Would you ever consider lending a helping hand volunteering or even housing some animals that the rescue farm does not have room for? Yes to lending a helping hand when I had the free time, and yes to housing a foster if I had enough room. Would you link this rescue to your own personal website or spread the news by word of mouth? For sure. Would you be more likely to donate to a site that has many pictures and stories of the rescued animals than one that does not? Yes, it would be nice to see what animals I am donating money to, and hear their story.

| Senior Member+ | i have donated money before - and i'm actually running a model horse photo show in aid of the RDA next month. I probably wouldnt donate unless i had seen either the farm itself or a lot of pictures because otherwise you run the risk thst the place isnt genuine, and i hate handing over money for nothing! I wouldnt really expect anything for donating, although something like a recent donors thankyou list on the website would be nice so people would know their money definately arrived. |

| Senior Member+ | I have donated money when I am able. Not really finacially in a possition to give much but I try to give some to the local shelters collection at the petstore. I like havingt occaslional newsletters on what the shelter has been doing or needs. Storeies of some of the pets that found homes are great seeing how the donations are being used. I give money since the shelter knows what it needs more than I do and money can go for anything they might need. I don't know if I would donate to a shelter I was not familiar with. I have experienced several scams, (not from this source) and am very leary of unkown organizations asking for money. For those I'd probably give supplies that could be used rather than money to be sure it was benefiting an animal. I help the shelters by going to them to adopt my dogs and cats and even my horse is an ex race horse. I try giving animals a secound chance in a new life myself.
