Red face How do you measure a saddle?

Measure a saddle??? How do you do it? Please ..Thank you..
A western saddle
Measure the seat..for example...16inches

It depends on if it's western or english (but that's all I know for sure). There is a start and end point for each in the seat.

You measure from the cantle to the screw on the front of the saddle.
