OMG!!! I'm wiping tears out of my eyes!!!

I did the EXACT same thing!!! Only I figured it out the next morning when I was holding him for the vet and looked under his tail and said "She's deformed! She's only got one hole" and my vet gave me this look and said "Tonya... (big pause)... That would be a colt"

I just wanted to add... the more handling the better! Makes it so much easier when you need to start the "grown up" stuff. I knew a lady that bred warmbloods. She always complained to me that they weren't selling and she couldn't figure out why?

I was too polite and nice to say my opinion... but I'll say it here. If someone wants a wild foal they will go to an auction or the BLM and get one for $100... they're NOT going to spend $8000!!! I even offered to go over and work with her babies, but she said no.

yeppers that is better to keep saying there name and handling them that is the best way to go and alot of praising you need therer trust and they need yours to make everything go smoothly too
