How Depressing--(Horse Killed and Cut Up)

Have to vent/share this...

What kind of people would do this? It really makes you stop and think what kind of idiots live in this world. I'd be so upset and really just fuming if this were my horse. The poor owner... Just makes me sick!

Here's the article... (all this happened in Waseca County, Minnesota)

"The Waseca County Sheriff's Department is investigating the mutilation of a miniature horse.
The suspects lured a horse from an open barn door, killed the animal, and then dragged it some distance before dismembering the animal. The horse's legs were removed from the scene by the suspects, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff Timothy Dann told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS that the incident was "disturbing."

The horse's barn was in Blooming Grove Township in Waseca County. The owners of the horse said they weren't sure when the horse was killed, but were certain it happened after Saturday, March 18.

The Sheriff is looking for the public's help solving this crime. Anyone with any information is encouraged to call the Waseca County Sheriff at 507-835-0500."

That is horrifying! Makes me lose a bit of faith in humanity when I read stories like that.....

I cannot even fathom the mindset of someone who would take a horse, slay it, then cut it up. The mental and physcial act of someone doing this is beyond a realm that I cannot relate with.
To often the devil shows face.

That's awful. Poor horse, and the poor owners... however it makes me wonder a bit, why she didn't notice right away (it says she wasn't sure when it happened).

All the same, its horrible.

That makes me ill. There are some sick individuals out there. I hope they catch them and make them pay dearly.

I don't get this part? There were standing there "Whitnessing" this horrible act and didn't do anything? I am confused.
