How and where do you apply highlighter?

Just what the title says.

I'm showing my Arab in halter in June and I'd like to put some highlighter on to to give her a little something extra...I just have no idea how to use it.

You mean the gooey stuff to put on their faces? I've never used it, but I've seen lots and lots of pictures of Arabs with it on, lol.

After clipping the face, muzzle, and eyes, you rub it onto the muzzle and around the eyes. Some people extend some up from to muzzle and down from the eye, I've heard that doing that is supposed to make the horse's head look shorter.

If you're still not sure, check out some of the top barns' websites, like Midwest. Most, if not all, of the horses in their photos will have highlighter on. Some have a lot, some have less. IMO, less is more, but it's up to you how much you use. Some people really like the 'wet seal' look, and others like a little more of a 'natural' look.

it used to accent their heads...very carefully place around eye and blend along the sides...it is usually placed where the hair in very short(just around and below eye and between nostril and mouth..just dont forget to BLEND[big emphysis])
