Wink Horsey Pet Peeve?

I've been thinking about this lately and then I saw the "horse fetish" thread and figured I'd make mine...

What is your horsey pet peeve?

I can NOT stand having the forelock under the brow band and the nose band HAS to be prefectly centered...no lop siding...I can't stand that! LOL

Share yours!

Yeah I hate going to the brn after not being therefor a few days and seeing my horse have a huge muddy spot on her.

Like you said, it really buggs me when I see people who dont have their saddle pad attached to there saddle correctly Or when extra stirup leather isent put through the loop like it is supposed to be,I dont like seeing uneven polowraps Lol Umm....Or like you said when the forlock is in the browband.

Hmm.....Well when Im in a lesson and it is windy and I cant hear my instuctor, thats pretty annoying to Lol.

I know horses love it but I hate it when they roll right after a bath. So annoying.Lol

Ha! A few days? I turn my back on mine for a few minutes and they roll

My pet peeve (and its a training issue) is horses that scratch their heads on you. I can scratch them, but I can't stand it when they rub on me!

Haha, you guys nailed mine

I hate seeing crooked nosebands. And when people have the bit too high in their horses' mouths.

It drives me nuts when people don't know how to properly wrap polos and they don't go around the fetlock.

I despise it when someone is trying to talk to you while they're riding their horse AWAY from you. Drives me crazy!!!

I HATE that! There's one girl at my barn who's horse always has his forelock under the brow band and I am so tempted to pull it out! lol.

Aside from that I have a huge pet peeve with my horse being dirty, just mine. lol. If I see one little flack of mud on the inside of his leg I will scrap it off till it's gone. lol. The reason I used that as an example is because I've done that before. Ha! I also have to brush Ollie's mane so it's knot free before I ride. As you can tell, I'm very big on clean. lol.

Messing with his forelock.

HATES it. be it from bridling or brushing.

Also, mud. OMG, can't get his prissy feet all muddy when we ride, but once he's unsaddled, he's the FIRST into the mud pit. Has to be HIS idea I guess...
