Horses needing new homes (IN/KS)

Rescued (GRADE) Appendix-type filly. Approx. 2 years old. Around 15hh (need to measure her for sure). Long legged filly. Well put together. Great candidate for pleasure, trail, or hunters. Needs a loving, understanding owner who she can bond quickly to. Bay with a stripe. Beautiful face, lovely personality...just needs LOVE.
Located in IN. LOW, LOW adoption fee to good home.

Breeding stock paint gelding. 15 months old. Palomino w/white stripe. BIG bodied, expected to mature around 15-15.1hh. Great grandson of Shining Spark. Doing well with tying, farrier work, leading, and overall manners. Is kept out with a "herd" full time, and maintains well on pasture with a small amount of grain.
Located in KS.

APHA gelding. 10 years old. Bay (overo) w/big white blaze, belly splash, rear socks. Approx. 15hh. Powerful, big bodied. Great ground manners, has been trail ridden, shown (lightly) western pleasure, and has been ridden under english saddle. Knows his stuff, just needs an EXPERIENCED rider to help bring out his full potential. Maintains GREAT on pasture. Out full time.
Located in KS.

Paint gelding. In his teens (bought from an open sale). Chestnut tobiano. BIG, BIG gelding. Wide, AND tall! Easy to work around. This guy could live off of his own reserves for quite some time...DEFINITELY an easy keeper. Hasn't done anything for quite some time so needs an experienced rider on his back...used to be a kids horse but has developed some "quirks" that need fixing. His gaits are smooth as silk once you get him going. His jog is to-die for.
Located in KS.

I was working with ALL these guys before I got pregnant/moved to Indiana. The owner is motivated to sell them before winter. If interested, contact for photos, additional information, and prices.

Nice horses, good looking horses. I almost bought the yearling for myself, just don't have the time I need for him right now!

Hey! I'm from Kansas but in SC right now...however I know that the Kansas State University takes horses for their equestrian team. You could also check with the Ft. Riley Color Guard...they have a nice barn their too. I see that you're army! So are we We just came from Ft. Riley (but i'm from Manhattan)

Where in KS are these horses located? Would there be a potential to lease any of them?

I just moved to Manhattan, KS and am looking for a horse to either full or part lease. I'm an experienced rider (both English and Western) and a first year vet student.

Are you still interested in a lease on any of the horses? I'm pretty positive their owner would be willing to do something like that to get them working and exercised. They are in Junction City off of Highway 57 (if you know where that is yet , about 10 minutes from the Airfield Gate at Fort Riley.

Thanks for getting back to me. (I think) I've found a mare to lease. I'm trying her out for now, and I think she's going to be what I'm looking for. However, if it ends up not working out, I'll get back to you.
