Exclamation Horses in need of homes ASAP!!! Slaughter bound **PHOTO HEAVY!

I know I will get flamed for this as I did last year but I still and always will feel very strongly about saving these horses so I will continue to try my hardest to find these beautiful horses homes.

About the horses:
United Pegasus is a 501 non-profit horse rescue that tries very hard every year to find these beautiful horses homes before they end up at the feedlot. They come from a past PMU breeder and he is now breeding for meat until he sells ALL his horses.

If you would like more details just post here or you can PM me

*Also United Pegasus ships the horses for little fees (I got my colt back in Dec. and the shipping was only about $350).

Since Ranch 1 lost their PMU contract with Wyeth Ayrst. We have been trying to help them place their mares. They had approx 250 mares and we have managed to find homes or sponsorship for all but 32.If you cannot adopt a horse please consider sponsoring one of the mares they will stay in Canada and never be re-bred. If you sponsor one of these mares you must make the commitment for the rest of their lives at $75.00 per month.

ADOPTION FEES FOR ALL MARES $700
ADOPTION FEE FOR FOALS $525 - $625

WILL ADD MORE PHOTOS IN NEXT POST

THANK YOU FOR LOOKING,
DANIELLE

I may have misunderstood this deal but if the guy is breeding for meat horses and your trying to stop that why would you find him buyers? Isn't that going to just encourage him to breed more?

Sorry to say that horses these days are going for less that the adoption fee being charged for them also. Some of them are very pretty but to many horses need homes to be charging such a high adoption fee.

you did not understand my post
He is selling all his horses and once they all sell he will no longer have horses to breed for meat. THAT is why I am trying to find them homes

EDITED TO ADD:
JUST THOUGHT I WOULD ALSO ADD IN BEFORE ANYONE SAID ANYTHING THAT HE IS NOT SELLING THESE HORSES AND BUYING NEW ONES HE IS SELLING TO GET OUT OF THE BUSINESS...

Wow, some very nice looking horses. If I had room and money I'd take them all. I've visited United Pegasus amd PMU sites from time to time. There never seems to be a shortage. Even now that the farms are closed for Premarin.
