Horses in my backyard! (*real* photos added!)

The mares are here! Yay. By the time I got them settled in it was waaaaay dark so I promise I will get better photos in the AM.

Excuse the ghetto pens. I set it up so I can expand their pens just a bit each day by sliding ropes down instead of having to hand graze and monitor that.

Oh how exciting! It was always my dream to have my horse right here at home with me... its so wonderful now that she is. I know exactly how you feel and I'm so happy for you. Is Regal going to stay at your trainer's place?

By the way... how did the show go?

Glad to see your girls home--nothing better than looking out your window and seeing your horses right there........

Thank you. Yes. Regal's goign to stay where he is or possibly move to a closer barn I got a lead on today.

My show went great! I made a thread: Another show... another fall- at least this one has a happy ending!

Wow...I didn't know you were getting to put them there.

Why did you move from KS to MO? How much land do you have now?

Yay! Got some pictures when I fed this AM. I swear I took a few of Lucy too but morning sun + chesnut + her standing in the shade turned her into a big blob.

They seemed to have weathered the night okay but I'm a little concerned at Ebony turning her nose up at the hay.

Here's a view of the barn and horses from my office window.
