They will do their best to find their owners but the ones who aren't claimed will eventually be put up for adoption...

It's so sad what was happening and to think that many of the owners had to choose between their lives and their animals. I don't think I'd be able to do that. I'd feel terribly guilty if I did.

I really hope they all get back with their old owners or go to new ones!

They sent a separate plane down there and filled it FULL of just dogs and put them up for adoption in other states. Can you imagine not being able to find your dog and hearing that is up for adoption in some far away stae, possibly across the county and not being able to get to or find it, it would be so hard.

i know of a man that lives not far from me and he is fostering about 30 horses, the rest are at various foster homes adn trying to reunit w/ the owners, but they haven't claimed them yet, so they might be up for adoption

some people will adopt them either permenatly or temporarily until they can find their owners. They also do this with dogs, cat, rabbits, ect.. Some though have to be put down because f their numbers. Theres so many. My band director is adopting two dogs .
