I live in Miami, and it just has gotten out of hand here in Florida. PLease SEE THIS VIDEO.

As you see the video, you will come to meet Playboy, Well, I know playboy, and its a sad reminder of what can happen to our horses, this is disgusting.

So many people faught to end slaughter and instead we have this.
Simple, bring slaughter back legally and don't ever fight it away again

I've been seeing that on the news a lot lately.
Even where I am 60 miles North of Miami they are telling people to keep all gates and fences locked and really watch your horses.
The worst part is there are so many free horses here now, people really have to be careful with who they can trust.

I actually went to Miami last week with a friend, and she pick up a free TB from an owner who could not afford him anymore. He's lucky he found a legit home

Problem is, when slaughter was prevalent, horses were still stolen from stalls and pastures. Difference is they were taken to slaughter plants instead of a field off a back road.

I am pro-slaughter, BTW. But it won't stop the issue of privately-owned horses being stolen for someone else's table. Even a good lock won't necessarily do that. Thieves usually come equiped with bolt-cutters.

this is been an increasing problem here in south florida. I am hispanic, but i should be ashamed to say thats its mainly cubans who are doing this. They have been told that this is not Mexico, cuba, el salvador, etc but they still do it. Playboy's story was hilarious, I actually know the owner and see playboy often. She found the robber walking playboy away from their property in plain DAYLIGHT. How saddening.

I don't see that making slaughter legal again will put a stop to this. This is being done by people who have no regard for the law, by people who steal a horse and therefore make far more money by selling it's meat than if slaughter were legal and they had to buy the horse to sell it's meat.
