Horses & Dogs Gone BAD!

*Sigh* I give them the very best care.... And how do you think they repay my kindness?

Do they pool their money & buy me a nice bouquet of flowers?

Do they spell out "We Love You" in the backyard using tiny rocks and sticks?

Nooooooooooooooooooooo!

The horses do this!

They had to actually dig down to reach the water pipe and crack it....that's a tree root sticking up!

Do they even look sorry when I come home to this?

Nope! They were having a grand old time!

And so as not be be outdone.... my sweet loyal doggie, Blue decided to make some alterations to the leathers on my saddle....

Reasons # 367 and #368 for why in my next life....

This is the only type of pet I will own...

No, I did not have to pay for repairs... I am getting very good at fixing broken water pipes...seeing as this is the 3rd or 4th time they've done it in the past couple of years.

Because the soil here is so sandy.... they are always making potholes or trenches that I have to level out.
If they happen to make a hole and discover a pipe... Jack (evil bay horse in the picture) will paw at it until he get's caught and yelled at or it cracks and bursts.
The trick to finding and fixing the pipe is to let the water recede and look at how the water flowed over the dirt or turn it back on and wait for the geyser to show itself.
