horses and chickens

Can a chicken be a companions to my horse? How many chickens like 2? Can not having a companion cause him to be agressive?

anything can be a companion, but the BEST companion for a horse is like a goat or mini pony.

well we don't have enough room for a mini and goats will chew right through the wooden fence even if we put wire up

LOL, ok. i don't see why chickens wouldn't be a good companion. even ducks if you have a small pond for them

Check with your vet tho, I'm not sure, but some fowl can carry things like EPM that can be dangerous with your horses health.... domestic chixs are probably okay, but I would check just to be on the safe side...
