Horse transporters??

Okay well I found my dream horse *gets all googly eyed*. The thing is she is in NH and I am in MI. My mom is on vacation and won't be back until tomorrow but I am seriously considering asking her if I can borrow the money for this gal. The thing is I am wondering how much shipping is going to be. Anyone know of any horse transporters?? I really need to get some quotes so I can see if this is even a possibility. My mom said since we are getting our new house (once the mans wife signs the papers), I could get a project or something that I would want to keep. So any websites of transporters would be great! Also has anyone had a horse hauled long distance before? How much was it? How did it go?

Thanks

I just did some research for the girl that will be sending me a horse. Most places are usually are .75 cents per mile. The horse will be shipped from Va to Binghamton area New York. The shipper said he will be coming through around July 8th so we don't know the exact date yet. but I will let you know how it goes.

There was a really good website I found I will try to get it for you tommorow.

I just had my colt shipped from Norfolk Arkansas to Utica Ohio for $380.00 by Suzanne Nay. I found her through Traveling Horse and she did a wonderfull job. Meeting her and seeing her interaction with my colt I felt she really cared for the horses she hauls.
