| Horse Training Part II
I have seen a good bit of response on what to expect in 60 days, I see many differing opinions, but the main thing to remember are your goals and confidence. What are your plans for your horse and what is your skill and confidence level, discuss this w/ a trainer and dont be afraid to call trainers and ask about their methods. Dont be afraid to take your horse to a good trainer that may be a little farther from your house than you would like. And remember YOU are always training your horse, everytime you are around him, and dont be afraid to try new things and new methods, this will keep your horse from getting bored with what you do. Most of all if you want to ride with confidence, truthfully evaluate your ability and find a horse that will help you learn and increase your skills. Just my thoughts, keep the posts coming, I am becoming a better horseman everyday from everything being discussed on this forum! Sorry this was supposed to be in the Training Forum.
