Horse Trailer for Sale in WA --$750

http://cowgirly.net/trailer.aspx

1972 Premier Brand Horse Trailer- 2 horse bumper pull
$750 OBO

I have the title ready to sign off for cash. Will entertain reasonable offers but can't go way down in price.

Here is what is great about it:
  • F
ully enclosed, with removable upper doors on back if you pull pins
  • Louvers and air vents that work well (open and close nicely and look nice- no oldie moldie fixtures)
  • Lots of lights- lights in tackroom, inside main trailer stall area for horses, etc.

  • Minimal leaking - only some rust damage on lower back doors, does not impede ability to haul.
    • Most of trailer surprisingly low on rust for its age
    • Dark blue/black in color
    • Good Floor mats
    • Swinging center bar can come out if you push pin up.
    • 2 escape doors
    • Looks nice and clean
Step up
Good size- could fit 15.2 horse.
Measurements:
  • front to back inside 106"
  • feeder 33"
  • feeder to back inside 73"
  • width inside 58"
Nice clean tack area under manger
Minimal rust
Pads inside intact
Electric brakes
Good tires
Spare tire included
  • Here is an honest list of what needs work (photos below):
    • Possible couple boards inside needing replacement - not rotted through but beginning to get a little bouncy back toward the door if you jump in 'em. Your call.
    • Lower back doors rusty, could use new wood inside if you want to reline them- does not affect usability.
    • One back door has handle that won’t stay up- has just been used with bungee looped to hold it, but you can replace if you want.
    • Hitch is hard to crank- it can be done but it's rough. You may want to bring a jack to take her home, unless you're strong! You can replace the crank and dolly wheel part for $22 on www.ebay.com (see item number Item number: 280222343233) and have a shiny new one that swivels out of the way.
I just spent hours washing her up- she is clean inside and out. very minimal leaking, good solid trailer. get here quick, this one will go fast- a little cash and some elbow grease and you'll have a nice solid trailer for years to come.

The Photos below were taken tonight after work in the dark and rain..

    right side

    left side

Inside- you can see the light above in this one and the pads. there is mesh over windows and louvers on the outside of them, they look nice and let light in in the day.

Look at this nice dry little tack room- clean! Door to manger is open as well. You can see the small round vent (there is one on each side) there which opens for additonal air. The metal you see there on the right side of the photo is the trim, which is in great shape and winds down the front into a pointed design- that is not something broken or hanging! Oh and there is a light in here, too.

Here are the pics of the items mentioned above you may wish to fix:

Trailer hitch is bent, can be hooked and unhooked but may need a jack to load. Wheell still comes off and on, it's just sticky to crank far. Ebay Item number: 280222343233 will fix thsi for about 22 bucks.

outside of back door- rust does not affect usability

    inside of back left door

here is the inside of the back right door- the structurally worst part of the whole trailer. You can see the board there- you can use boards as a liner to the back door, which is what I would do. They just slide right into the edges there, which are almost entirely cleaned out since I washed it. If you don't it is still a solid door but boards would look nicer.

  • boards on back right that are a bit 'springy' that you may want to replace.

Here is the back top doors- you can see the little bungee that holds it up. You could just slip the pin out and not use the top back doors, replace the handle- or use it like this like they have been. 2 of the lights need covers.

That's it, I have tried to show you everything I can so as not to waste your time or mine, feel free to email me with questions or to arrange a time to see it. I priced it low to get this over with before I decide to keep her.

I know, it is a great little trailer, I have a couple coming out tomorrow. If they want it they can't pay until the 10th but I think if they do I will hold it for them, they are such nice people and I know that "waiting for payday" feeling.

I have a decent little trailer, but I really want another one, lol. My original plan was to fix mine up and sell it to get a bigger one, but I think I am going to keep it AND get a bigger one. Yours isn't bigger than mine, but I really like how it is set up.

David thinks I am nuts for wanting two, but like I told him, if we are just hauling a single saddle horse or Mini or two or some goats even, why pay gas to haul a big six horse when we can take a smaller trailer?

Good luck selling, and that is very nice of you to be willing to wait a few days for them to be able to pay!
