Horse Stuff That I Can Make & Sell?

I am saving up to buy a Bashkir Curly, and I was wondering if anybody has any ideas of stuff that I can make and sell for a profit? I want it to do with horses so that I can say that by buying my products, you are helping an allergy sufferer to buy the solution to her problems I mean its gotta melt someones heart, lol

So...any ideas? I am going to sell rope halters, because i know how to make them, but i am finding it really hard to think of anything else.

Thanks for all your help, you guys are great!

    ~ Skye

There is a book out there that has patterns for braded horse tack, As in braided bridles, reins, western cinches etc. The book is called something like Macro Tack I think.

Plus if you sew you can get the patterns for leg wraps and saddle pads etc

you can also make picture frames, like one that have rope around them or something along that line.

Thanks Top Dun! I checked it out, and it looks great! I dont really want to pay that much for it (though i'm sure its worth it), so i will see if i can find a used one for sale somewhere, or maybe my parents could pay for some of it as an easter present or something (rather than chocolate...ewghh...)

    Thanks again,

    ~ Skye

**edit- by the way, yes i can sew

Some things that are made around here are tail bags. Really easy to make and sell quite well especially to the younger people if they are in really wild colors. Sleazies are really easy to make and sell well. They are a godsend at a horse show. Bridle bags are fairly easy to make. Bags to keep your clothes in. Another thing that is really easy to make is a show bag. Put hooks on the top and make pockets to keep your shampoo and all the other stuff you use at shows. They make it really easy to groom your horse because nothing is on the floor you can hang it on the side of the stall. You make it so that you can fold it up and close it when you are done. That's about all I can think of now.
