Ok i agree with some of these people there is some wrong inforamtion but a very nice written letter. Just if your sending it into politics maybe make it a little shorter take out the rambaling parts. I have sent 3 different letters to people my local representative, state representative, and my mom said i should send one to the white...it might not be read but who knows! Maybe get some more information that has been cited you know for a fact that it is true.

I think the problem is that instead of ONE thread on the same subject, everyone seems to have to have their own, when their comments/letters/etc would fit perfectly in the already being discussed and open and ACTIVE thread.

So basically, instead of running 2-8 arguments, just try to keep it to one. That is one issue many of us have with the ten million threads that get started about the same time.

LOL, well my lips are bleeding from the effort of trying to break my zipper...

I have been choosing to keep out of these threads for a while because I am having a hard time keeping my emotions out of them, and these threads should never be led with emotions.....on either sides!!

That's a little cruel. I think any criticism someone like Lou3 gives,it must be for a very valid reason and should be taken into account.

In no way am I trying to cause a fight or anything else.
It would depend on the circumstance.

For example..
Imagine, I sell my horse. She passes hands a bit and ends up somewhere and gets abused, and becomes underweight and very sick, close to death.
I would prefer for her to be slaughtered than to have to put up with that any longer. IMO, slaughter would be more humane than making her live that kind of life.

I'm sorry. This is going to seem rude, but I have to let this out. Or I'll go insane.

Don't read if you don't want.

If you really want to stop horse slaughter, don't get the internet. Save up some money and rescue a horse. Out bid killer buyers. They don't buy for a lot. Then you can say you've saved a horse from slaughted. Honestly, how are some little words on a forum going to help stop slaughter? They are not. Hah. I kind of find these threads amusing. It so "Oh My God. Horse slaughter is the worst thing since sliced bread. It should be stopped. I mean think of the poor horses. Ohhh my goooodddd. Ahh! Horses are my friend don't kill a friend. OMG! That horse was hit with a bolt! Ahh" and all "Horse slaughter is completely humane." Now you see how I look at these threads.

Horses are PROBABLY (not saying they are) being SLAUGHTERED RIGHT NOW! OH MY GOD! Go save them if you really want to do something about it. I know for a fact that I will, be quite MAD if they BAN SLAUGHTER. Which won't happen. I have my reasons, which are none of your business at all. None. At All.

Now. I'm. Done.
