Horses are livestock. As cows.

How cold can you be? So you are saying you could replace your horse with a cow and you'd be okay? You wouldn't tell the difference? Virtually what you are saying is that killing a horse and killing a cow are the same thing, and maybe they are.
But, they're both just animals right? They don't have feelings, emotions. And, because they are just animals we should just turn a cold shoulder and allow them to killed, just like that. We don't see it, so it's not really our problem.

I said the site was reputable. I only listed facts from it, and though the organization is in no doubt using this as propaganda, a lot of the facts are true.

The link you posted was to the HSUS....since I do not consider the HSUS a reputable organization I have to question the validity of anything posted on their website.
Finding something on the HSUS website is the same situation as finding something on PETA's, in my opinion...I question the validity of anything found on any of these types of animal rights organization's websites.

So because cows are not as intellegent,it doesn't matter if they are slaughtered? Hmmmm.......Jess is the heartless one ay?

Horses are livestock. Yes,we form more of a bond with them then a cow and this just might be me but, my horse doesn't come into my house and sleep at the end of my bed like a pet does. She doesn't sit in the back of my car. She didn't cost me $20.

I'm not trying to change your opinion and i'm not trying to argue. I'm responding to your opinion with mine.

i dont like the fact that horses are slaughtered. but i think they AT LEAST should be killed painlessly. the stun guns VERY RARELY kills on the first hit. causing then trauma, and a lot of pain. not nice for their last moments alive. some live through the stun gun altogether, and live through getting their faces cut off.. then they die. kinda gruesome, a bit emotional. but true.
