Hmm.. Maybe you should list your source of where you are getting the pictures from.

If you're doing this for a class project, you may want the owner's permission of the pictures.

I sure would be peeved if someone used my pictures without my permission.

And a lot of those pictures do not look like slaughter bound horses. They could've easily been taken at sale auctions.

The ones laying down could easily been taking a nap or dozing in the sun rather than being "exhausted".. I can post pictures of my filly laying down and they would look the same..

You may want to make absolute 100% sure what is going on in the picture rather than assuming what is happening. Anyone could just "say".. and it not be true.

Just FYI..

I'm talking about the actual person who took the photographs. They could be copywrited and if you are using the pictures without their permission, is against the law. Unless you at least site your source from where the actual photos come from.

The first few photos I would say neglect and maybe abuse, yes. A lot of the others, no I wouldn't.

I used the Save Da Horses captions, cause they know what is happening at the pictures. If you want you can add the website www.savedahorses.com to the sources....DON'T GO to the website though they have really graphic pictures everywhere.

And most of the pictures were of auctions, where MOST of the horses end up slaughter-bound.

And the horses lying down probably are exhausted due to the lack of water and food

MAYBE, but how can you claim that with no proof? If you were there, fine, but anything else is assumption or hearsay.
