i know you want info on ur horse,but i wouldnt try and contact this jaime.if ur horse is a rescue then u dont want them to know where ur horse is.and they probably wont give u info.they will prob be nasty to you.i got a pony from this one lady.she had a rescue that was a seizure.she has no idea how the abuser found her.this lady kept calling wanting to buy back this horse.this abuser wanted her horse back,even willing to buy it,but when it was seized,horse was in terrible shape.nice lady was worried that shed wake up to horse being gone.
so you may not want to open that can of worms.

You have a good point. I don't think this person wants her back because she had a lot of horses and was just selling them -- I don't know where she got them. But I appreciate your advice, and will be careful. Thanks.

ps she went through an auction and then someone bought her, kept her for a couple of months and then sold her to me (for a lot more than she paid for her, I'm sure.) That's what she does -- picks up horses at auctions, pretties them up a bit and resells them.

Some have been rescued, through the incredible efforts of one of the women who replied to my BAEN ad; some have "disappeared", and a couple actually died. Authorities "didn't think the two who died looked that bad(!)"

While I certainly met a couple of crooks through this whole thing, I have met some fabulous people. You are one of them. My mare gets better and better, and I just hope she will wind up gentle enough (i.e., no bucking, etc.) for me. My trainer/friend is doing wonders with her.

Her phone # has been disc. She lives in Loma Rica and has more horses.

That grey mare didnt have a thing to do with Jamie Cardoza. Did you just pull that idea out of the sky? An unregistered grey mare and all of the sudden you know it came from some place where they were starving that doesnt even make any sense. You should be careful posting peoples names on boards when you dont have the ablility to validate these things. That can get you into trouble.
