Horse History

If you were going to be doing some behavior tests with a horse and/or training it, what type of information would you want to know about the horses past (medical, training, etc)? Just a list of things you might want to know would be great! Thanks!

Training wise, I don't really care. I pretty much start all over in the round pen with groundwork. The horse will pretty much tell you what you need to know in the first few sessions.

But, I do like to know about any lameness problems, any big medical conditions, ect. If the horse had surgery for stifles, or had splints or might have arthritis, I want to know about it.

I wish I knew more about my horses past. For her, she has all these things she does/is afraid of, that make it hard to work with her sometimes, and it would be easier to deal with them if I knew why she felt that way about things. I'd like to know how the horse was treated in the past, and how they were trained.

I like to know all I can, medical is mor important but, training is usefull, especially if the horse has issuse with training or tack. I also like to knoe if it is a stable raised or ranch raised horse. Was it broke or trained? All of this affect what and how i work the horse.
