Horse hates water..how to bathe

we might be adding an arabian paint to our animal family she is 4 years.
has only been brushed not bathed cause they are saying is afraid of the water...I know its really not that important but she is in good need of a bath big time...so how do you get a horse used to water.
some advice I got was to get her used to the water by holding it there by her until she gets the hang of it.

Alright, so does my horse. What I do is start with her feet, and once she gets used to that and slowly go up. DO NOT GO TO FAST! My horse hates that, so take it nice and slow, from the hooves up.

also to add to tt rain, first start by spraying it on the ground lightly infront of them.

If their legs are sensitive, you can start by spraying their withers
