If he has been given unknown plants, I would highly recommend you treat him with those ASAP....or he may go down in health in the next few days/weeks.....I have seen this happen....By then he will start loosing weight for no reason you can see and become enemic....my mare did this, it nearly killed her.

I don't mean to sound pushy, but it saved my mares life...she also coliced and started loosing huge amounts of weight...and was anemic....the vets where at a loss to what was wrong and could not help me.

I wasn't sure if you missunderstood what I was saying...you need to treat the liver if it has been poisoned/put under stress.

I'd just hate for you to have a really sick horse in a weeks time.
