Maybe you can give me advise on what to do. When we go on outrides with other horses my horse is fine, when we turn around to go home she will do anything I asked her to do, but when I'm riding alone with her and I want to turn around to go home she will stop and no matter what I do she wont move forward, even if I get of and walk a bit along side her and get on again, she wont move, she sometimes wants to buck and start to kick with one of her front legs. If the weather is fine again I want to take her out on a differnt road to see if she will still do it,because when I ride alone there is only on raod I use because the other raods are to dangerous. Her teeth is checked and the saddle is correct. |

I have had one like that; one of the horses that came for training. When she would stop, I would make her back in the direction that I wanted to go; about 20 - 30 feet. Then turn her around and ask for a forward walk again. When she wouldn't go, I backed her up some more. Each time make them back further. After about the 3rd backing, she was more than happy to go forward.
