That's AWFUL! I really hope that boy gets punished severly for his actions!! And that poor little girl, only 7 years old. What a thing to go through, and then to witness poor Skamp suffering at the hand of her brother.

I just can't get over this! It's so awful! that poor horse was so cute too. It really hurts me to think of him dying over a disturbed boy. Now I jsut really hope that little girl isn't going to be scarred forever. When I was 7 the horse I was riding in a lesson started cantering instead of trotting and it took me almost two years to start riding again.

thats horrible! the BO should either not allow him back or make him work off the damages or something!! You would think the kid would have some sense not to do that if his sister owned the horse....
there should definatly(bad spelling) be some new rules posted there! at the barn i had ransom at ther where signs all over, "no strange dogs" "no children left unattedned" "horses are not a toy so dont treat them as such" even "all phones on vibrate"
that little boy should definatly have to pay for this, a simple "bad boy" is not enough, work or something (like i said)

I was there yesterday during her lesson, she is quite the little rider too! She isn't very big either she is really tiny but man can she get that horse going. It really is sad, from what my BO says she LOVED Skamp like adored him.

Skamp was a Paint x Thoroughbred cross, and they were working on payments so the little girl could own the horse buying it off my BO. My BO was really torn up man, she even started crying on the phone.

That poor child What a horibble thing to go through at just 7 years old
If the BO does press charges the boy will most likely end up having to do extensive community service. Because of his age there's not much more they can do. Kids will be kids but that's just pure evil

someone should stick one between his cheeks and light it. poor kid and poor horse. glad the little girl wasnt hurt but if my horse went out like that i'd be distraught for weeks. someone should have that kid brought up on involuntary psychiatric commitment papers for a homicidal gesture.... let him go to the nut-house for a few days and see how he likes it.

That is what I'm talking about, the kid kills a horse and could have killed his sister and all he has to to is pick up some garbage in the park I have a sister doing that right now, and she is worse now than ever
He should get jail time, therapy and have to get a job and pay restitution.
Plus a good ol' butt whoopin probably wouldn't hurt either.
