Kids in my area have been picked up and put in Juvie for a month or more for less than what this little snot did to that horse and his sister.

Ok I called from my BO, she said since I witnessed it that it was only fair I knew what happened. The horse was put to sleep, and the little girl refused to leave his side until he was completely asleep. The little girl is only 7-years-old and I guess that it tore my BO up inside to see how much she loved Skamp (the horse) ... the BO told the parents that she was going to press legal charges against their son for animal abuse or something like that.

What a horrible situation for the girl and poor horse

I seriously hope that boy gets the help he needs.

The really sad thing is that this boy will most likely get no help and little to no punishment, kids don't end up like that overnight, sounds like discipline has been lacking for awhile

Hopefully my BO can get everything worked out, and the little girl isn't scarred ):

That just is HORRIBLE. What a rotten thing to do. I hope this stupid kid seriously gets some kind of major punishment. Along with therapy.

Oh no! That's so sad!

I would kill that kid. How can anyone be so stupid!? Even if you don't work around horses?

This makes me worried about Crayon on the 4th. My friend let me know that her neigbors across the field bought a crapload of fireworks... even though it's illegal and the guy's the cheif of police. What's up with that?

I'm just disgusted. I really don't know what to say. Poor horse. Was it the girl's horse or the BOs? Poor little girl. That had to be a terrifying experience. That boy's lucky that YOUR horse didn't hurt himself either!

Romeo didn't even flinch when they went off, but yes he is VERY lucky.

Not surprising there. Nothing phases your boy.
