Horrible, horrible news.

I have some horrible news about the vet check on Teddys Spice Machine that was done today. I was not there, but apparently she has a torn/inflamed ligament in one of her front forelegs that she did recently which has now made her lame in the front (left maybe?). It will require 4 week at least of all stall rest with just being hand walked for it to heal proplery. Even after then it may turn into a chronic problem.

THe worst part is, that' not even the worst thing about it! I could handle that I suppose, if I had to and since I really love this horse.

But no, apparently she was TERRIBLE for the vet today. She did the kicking thing again, but apparently MUCH worse, with AIM and all and she did it when the vet or anyone tried to even get NEAR her back end. The vet I guess stuck the thermometer in to get her temperature, got kicked at and it was so severe she didn't try again.

The vet told my mom that she isnt' a horse trainer, but she was concerned that a 16-year-old girl was the one looking at buying this horse.

I just had this worse feeling coming home from school today that the vet check had not gone well. Right before I pulled into our garage I honestly said a little prayer hoping to God that my bad feeling was nothing but a silly misconception.

I feel just sick right now. Really sick to my stomache like I'm going to throw up. We will be asking for our check back this week. I really feel like throwing in the towel right now and saying I'm done. A horse is not worth this heartache and heartbreak. I seriously think I'm not meant to have a horse anymore.

I give up.

Oh Hannah! I"m so sorry, that's just plain terrible news. But keep your chin up, girlie, it just wasn't meant to be. The right horse for you is out there trust me

Aww don't give up, you'll find that perfect horse. There must be a reason why these things happen, this must not have been the horse that was meant for you. Keep on looking! You'll find another horse that you'll absolutly fall in love with

Hannah... I am so sorry. I know how you had your hopes so high and it really does stink all these bad things keep happening to you.

PLEASE don't give up, there is a reason as to why both this girl and Mya hadn't worked out for you. I'm sure there's the right one somewhere, just waiting for you.

aww Hannah Sweety done worry about it we all have our ups and downs when looking i got one horse sent down from taupo wasnt suitable i forked out 200 dollars we then brough rupert i was in love he was beautiful 2 weeks later he was an absolute mess and we had to give him back after alot of fighting with the owner, stick to it... i did and i have found the best horse you will be suprised and this time next year when your completely in love with your new horse you will look back on those silly things you have said and laughed YOU ARE MEANT TO HAVE A HORSE! just widen what you are looking for!

Oh i'm so sorry!!! If you really love this horse DON'T give up just yet!!!! If the torn ligament can be healed in 4 weeks then that's not so bad and also does kick you or try to kick you, if she isn't dangerous to you then there should't be a problem. Next time be there with the vet to comfort her and then maybe she won't kick.

THanks guys. I know these words will mean more to me and feel more true when I'm not so shooken up yet, so I'm just going to thank you guys now.

I just feel terrible though. I was so sure she was the one. I can't believe how I was so excited and getting ready for her to come to my barn just earlier today, and then in a moment my hole dream and hopes and wishes were shattered.

I hate being me right now. I really want to be someone else, anyone else right now.
