Honest Critique please

This is the Appaloosa mare i'm buying, i want a critique of her conformation. What are her faults? Keep in mind in these photos she was taken out of a paddock after a two year break no rugging or supplement feeding so is lacking muscle and her feet are terrible, but certainly not lacking in condition
I have her dam's Service certificate and the mare's proof of Identification paper work, so she should be eleigable registration with the AAA if not already registered and her past owner/breeder will be no trouble to track down, both her sire and dam are on the AAA stud book. So once registered i will be looking at getting a foal out of her to be used as an all rounder, this mare has a trainable temperament, smooth gates undersaddle and i like her solid conformation and pretty head so i would really like a foal out of her when the time is right.

I'm a big fan of the chestnut as well! She is a bit overweight, but once you start riding her again that will change. She's got a very sturdy build to her, def big bodied- I like that! She looks like a real sweetheart though, what do you plan on doing with her?

Ridetolive is right -- the pics aren't good for a confo critique. She needs to be set up right and the saddle taken off. She's overweight, true, but that can be remedied. I absolutely love her head. You seldom see an Appy with a head that refined.

Whoa, she's really enjoying her oats! I bet that you will tackle that in due time.

I am really liking her head, but can't really critique from those pictures all too well. Nonetheless, I do think that she is a very cute mare with a refined head.

Fatty =P Haha. I can't really tell.. but I did notice that her right front leg seems to be turned in? That might be because of her hooves =]

Well first thing.. she is a lil tubby.. haha well not really a 'lil' but alot tubby. So thats one thing you guys can work on! I cant really do a critique because of the pics, but she does look slightly pigen-toed in the front. Also she is a definate need of some trimming. (look at back)

Whoa - breeding those pigeon toes will only result in another horse with ring bone. Have x-rays done of her fronts. I'm betting she has calcification. Why are you thinking about buying a horse for breeding rather than buying a well put together foal?

She has a steep shoulder and a rather thick neck.

Yes i mentioned she needs to loose some weight and tone up, but that will come with time she just on grass hasn't been supplement fed at all in 2.5 yrs.
Her feet are shocking when i get her home those will be tended to right away, she is sound they are just over due for a good trim.
I'm buying this mare for myself to ride and show once registered and possibly bred a foal out of her later on, i don't believe she is toed in at all as i have checked her legs over and they appear straight her feet are long in the toe though at the moment.
She has good bloodlines both her sire and dam done well in the show ring and performing, i think she has balanced conformation back isn't too long nor to short, pretty refined head, she's not in any way stiff in the neck she's very flexible, she has a wonderful temperament is very quiet to work with and has lovely movement under saddle and whilst watching her on the lunge. I won't be breeding from her unless she is able to be registered with the AAA and then she will be bred to a well picked out stallion to compliment her conformation and also to be registered with the AAA and proven sire of show and performance horses. All precautions will be taken before breeding all vet checks etc and i will only breed when i have the facilities to do so.
