Skin-so-Soft works.
So does Espace skin conditioner. It's an awsome fly product that won't irritate.

A friend of mine gave me this recipe (to follow). She says it works great. I have not tried it yet.

Spray for horses

Pour into 32 oz. bottle:
1/3 C. Vanilla extract
1 and 1/2 C. apple cider vinegar
finish filling bottle with Skin So Soft

I am sure you want to be careful with ANYTHING around the eyes. This could also be wiped on.

I have never seen Espace skin conditioner... where do you get that?

Thanks,

Why don't you just use a fly mask. Very effective and lasts longer than a bottle of fly spray.

Flymasks work well. My old riding teacher used a flyspray that seemed to work. It was half apple cider vinegar and half something else, but that "something else" has slipped my mind. It really stunk!
