Talking Hogged Mane!!!!!

I've always wanted to hog my mustangs mane before and the only thing that is holding me back is confidence in wondering if it will look good or not! I know its allowed in the show jumping arena and i've always thought it would look good on Poncho because he has a beautifully arched neck! And now i know about "Shapely's MTG Hair Growth" product and my friend used it on her appy once and it grew out from nothing to 3 inches in a month! So what do you think!

Ain't he pretty! I plaited him so you can see his topline a little better!!!!!

Oh, girl I feel your pain. Sort of.
I was stuck in between the decision on whether or not to roach (Hog), and I did it, and I love it.
Your boy will look adorable roached.

I roached Crayon's mane and it came out pretty. good. I think your boy would look cute with it. Then when it grows into a "mohawk", it's pretty cute too!

I just advise doign it with clippers rather than scissors becasue when I did it, it looked totally uneven until it started growing out a little.

I roach my mare's mane. The mohawk can make them look over muscley sometimes, but since she has a delicate little neck, it kind of improves the look. I always leave the forelock, though. I say it's because of flies and dirt... but I like it when she has "bangs".
