HI there...sort of new here

Hey all...I used to post here, but it's been ages...lost track of a lot of the forums I used to go to ...I love this site...awesome horses folks! You should all be proud.

Let's see, I live in Maine, I have 2 horses, Fancy, the love of my life a 13 year old arab cross mare, she's 3/4 arab and 1/4 quarter horse. I got her as a 4 year old that had never been handled at all, she had lived out to pasture with her mom from the day she was born..never haltered, or worked with in any way, shape or form..so needless to say she was a bit of a challange, sort of like getting a 4 year old wild horse...but she is such a sweetie she was worth all the work for sure.

My second horse is one Im hoping my husband will ride so I can have a riding partner again. He is a morgan cross, just turned 8, gelding...he really is a sweet boy. I have only had him about 5 months, he was dead lame on his left front when I got him..nasty old abcess, with regular treatment he is now sound and eager to go.

I have 3 dogs, an old shepard named, Iris, a sheltie named Buddy and a year and a half year old shepard, JLee (Jerry Lee, for those who have seen the movies LOL)

I also have 3 cats, 2 female hymalayians, Sadie and Gracie, and my farm cat, Normal..and also one green cheek conure (small parrot) named Petie.

And last but not least, my hubby, Paul...he is really a great guy and indulges me with my love of animals and is also a Huge help with the all.
