HGS in 20 years

I was musing the other day... thinking about the years I've spent on HGS, and then thinking about the future. I got wondering... where will I be in 20 years, will where my friends be... and, lastly... where will HGS be?

Hmmm...

So, what do you think... in 20 years, lets assume here that HGS is still around, what will it be like? How many members, how many posts? And all importantly, what will some of the members be up to by then?

I think HGS will be pushing 40 million posts and have a server the size of China. The infamous mod-squad is still going strong, but now they are training a new batch of young protege-mods (who they are is anybody's guess!).
The core group of members will still be around, and we are all now the "old foggies" (or almost ) with a whole new group of young radical riders running about.
Lorin (Kissitgoodbye) will have made it to the Olympics by now and will have claimed a medal (gold I hope!).
Chick is well on her way to becoming the most popular professional rider in Australia
Renee (Painted Rocket) is now a retired super star fashion model who is looking to finally start her own law firm. Heather (HeavenlyJumper) is happily the mother of 2 children and has herself now a 6 year old grandson of Tiffany in the back pasture (who just so happens to also be a national champion in halter, just like his mother).
Lindsayanne now owns the largest herd of elite Baskir Curly horses in North America.
And Megan (Feliche) is happily eventing at Prelim on her second Irish Sport Horse, and in her spare time does interior decorating for multi million dollar homes

So now, your turn! What do you think HGS will be like in 20 years? Have fun!!

Idlewild is giving clinics in eventing after her sucess at the olympics.

Xiphias is still driving her horses to town every week to go shopping.

Jenniespassion is a doting grandmother teaching her grandkids to ride.

Jumpingbean is planning on beating chick in the individual jumping.

I think I'll be over my fear of horses.

Hopefully I'll have a few of my own.

Will have actually met a few of you people (hopefully)

I hope the forum will still be around so that we may make another "Hgs in 20 years"

Also, I hope to have a book published.

Wow, 20 years, that's a long way into the future. HGS will be huge by then! There will be so many people it will be even harder to keep track of who is who!

For me, I hope to be running my own Engineering business, making lots of money, have my own training stables, with a sucessful training business. Hopefully I'll still have Dragon and Lucky, even though they'll be old by then. I also hope I still have the other three horses I'll be getting in the next 4 years, and at least one TB foal out of one of my mares and an Irish Draught stallion I know or an ISF warmblood (perferably Riverman). (Definetly not enough horses.) I'd like to have my own place (with an indoor).
