I got on Sassie about 2 weeks ago and she was awesome. We just walked around for about 10 minutes I won't do too much with her this winter other than ground drive and jump on bareback some more. She's going to be such an awesome girl I just know it

I'll be starting hard training this winter/fall on my coming 3 year old, he was broke out in June of his of his 2-year-old year (he's an April baby),
This year he has gotten walk, trot, stop, back, pivot, and turns on the forehand down pat. Now we're off the canter work and finishing him for show season I'm very excited!
I also will most likely still have Roscoe and have been getting the itch to saddle him up and lunge him just to get him used to it.
He'll be 2 in April and will be a fun guy to put undersaddle.

I'm more excited about my rommate starting my coming 2 year old in the spring. I have always done the training, but this is his horse and he is great with horses. Has trained in the past, but has turned most the training over to me.

He is really looking forward to backing Pea Eye, I think I will be hiding around the corner video taping and taking pictures of the event to capture those precious moments.

My Dixie was born on May 2, 2006. So she is about 30 months old. I bought her this last June and have been playing with her ever since. What a quick learner she is. I didn't plan on doing any riding with her this year but everything went so well on the ground that we just progressed to riding. I hopped on her bareback many times now and she hasn't bucked a single time. We've walked and trotted so far. I've taken her for walks and end up riding her home...she amazes me. She's had a bareback pad with cinch on and a saddle. I haven't rode her in a saddle yet..I'm just doing a little riding...just getting her used to it but mainly I just want her to grow and wait till the time is right. It's so much fun having a youngster...!
