She is TB for sure and a beauty!!!!!! What a lucky horse to get you for her owner and savior! I'm sure if you don't keep her, you'll find her a great home!!

Update! It's been 3 weeks since Molly came to the barn, and she has become quite the lovebug. Tonight I thought I would try out a training surcingle on her since she has had no problems with blankets or sheets being put on her. She was really good, and I tried a bridle, which she took also. It's entirely possible that she has had at least a little bit of groundwork done with her, because she acted like it was nothing at all.

I just saw this thread, she is very pretty! I have a soft spot in my heart for wonderful people like you who take in these poor things who have no say in what happens to them! It is always warming to hear they go to such a great home

She seems to be filling out nicely. Her face is very lovely and expresive as well. I hope she continues to improve and impress.

Thank you! She is doing so well and is so sweet. It just kills me that there are so many horses out there just like her that can't be saved.

I know what you mean. In my daily travels locally, I pass three separate TB breeding farms, and while I love to gawk at them, it is also quite sad knowing that too many of them will end up in feedlots. We can only do so much. I have a 27 yr old ex racer who was bound for the feedlot when I bought him straight off the track 23 years ago. He has never let me down. Good luck to you.

So I was just having some fun with Molly, and she's so even tempered I decided to throw a saddle on her to see what she would do. She did absolutely nothing. We walked around the pasture, checked out the other horses, lunged in the arena, and nothing happened. She acted like she had been doing it forever, so.........

We popped my exercise rider up on her for a moment to see if she would react, and again nothing. In fact she yawned a few times, looked very happy, and wanted scratches. Then I walked her a couple of feet, stopped, walked again, and my rider got off. It was spectacular! I think she's done some of this before.
