| Senior Member+ | Herd Bound? Yesterday, the barn took Trav in last for dinner...maybe left him outside by himself for 5 minutes while I was with him, and he was a little nervous and nickered several times to the other horses. The trainer wanted to bring him in because he's still nervous and she wasn't sure the barn help would be able to handle him if he got stupid on them. Granted the place is brand new to him...he's only been there since Friday and he hasn't totally relaxed in his new surroundings, but is this a sign that he's buddy sour? Or just normal behavior for a nervous horse in a new place? |

| Senior Member+ | Was he totally alone, I mean no other horses around? and if he was out with the others and they took them all in, except him, and he is not used to being alone, that would explain it, I would not worry about him being herd bound, unless he acts that way when you try to take him out and work him in the ring or on trails by himself...Cathy
