Help us help "Sleeping Jack". This race horse was retired last year in June. However, his connections have now decided that he should come back and compete in the Paris Grand Steeple Chase!!
Sleeping Jack has shown that he does not want to run, but he is still set to participate. He has done his fair share of work. He ran in 41 races, won 13 and placed 14 times. He earned an amazing 835 000 euros in his career. This is apparently not enough!

If whomever owns him wishes to race him then a petition is not going to help the horse.

I sympathize with the horses plight but short of coming up with enough money to buy him outright there is likely very little a petition would do to help.

How old is the horse and has he had any injuries?

He is 10 years old, and he fell in 2 races during the last year, and he was stoping in the 2 last races by his jockey

So a not very old horse seems to be lightly raced with no injuries (eg. tendon damage ligaments etc) unless the horse is showing signs of distress there should be no problems. If Sleeping Jack doesn't want to race he wont nobody can make him.

after that he has been stoping 8 month and now the owner is training sleeping for the biggest race in paris "le grans steeple de paris"
