Help! My mare is way too early...

I just noticed my mare looks like she has full udders, and there's stuff dripping from it. She's not even due untill July, she's only at 8 months!!

I don't know tons about pregnant mares..I know stuff about bloodlines, stuff about foals, but not actual pregnant mares. This will be our second foal, but the first one I wasn't really involved with. Now it's my first mare and she's a maiden.

I didn't get a good look to see if it was milk, wax, or something else. I'm going to check again in the morning. I don't know what to do though...she is WAY too early to be showing any signs.

Help!

Zorse, I didn't even know you had a pregnant mare. Where have I been?
From what I've seen it's not all that uncommon for them to give you false signs of being ready. How much is dripping? What colour is it?

Miss B: Should she be giving signs THIS early though? She's VERY large, she waddles instead of walking. I assume she's just like that because she's short-backed.
There's not tons dripping, and I'm not sure what color it is. It was dark. I can bring her into the barn and check her right now if you think I should.

hmmm. that's scary, my mare showed signs 2 mos before foaling but she went 1 month over due so it was only 1 month prior to her due date that she started showing signs.. it sounds odd, but I'd def want to know the color and the amount

JMO, i would find out what color it is, she may be developing mastitis maybe if it's colored.
