HELP messanger gone weird

earlier today, when i loged on to msn, there were only 3 contacts on my list, so i added on of the missing eople and then suddenley they all appeared.
later, just before, i logged on again and there was a message saying that i had no contacts and how to dd them etc.
so i went and added one then the 6 contacts that were there earlier came back. so now i have to add everyone again.

do you think i have a virus or something, im confused

is there a reason you dont use trillian, its my chat program and i love it so much!!

Well its more like AOL, but its sweet because it lets you talk to all of the people on your yahoo, Aol, and i think Msn buddy lists

then click on get trillian BASIC now...the trillian pro u have to pay for

You can also try GAIM. It also lets you add all your Yahoo!/MSN/AIM/etc. buddies in one chat program.

Oh, I forgot to mention that your loss of buddies has more to do with a bad server connection to MSN than with the actual program itself.

You could have a virus/spyware on your computer that is hogging your bandwidth. Run Spybot Search & Destroy and update your antivirus. If Spybot and/or the antivirus find lots of gunk then you probably need to reinstall windows.
