help me help a friend

I want to get some ideas on finding an old friend. When i was in the hospital for PTSD i had a roomate, and we were really close, and we shared a lot. And i recently came across pictures of her, and a note goodbye from when i left. I really want to find her, but beacause of confidentiality, i cannot ask the hospital, and she has gone threw a lot of homes, so i do not know her last name for sure. But she was like a sister, i really just want to talk to her, since things have been tough lately. It's funny, she's the one who got me into horses, she had a horse toy and pictures of her old foster home where she had a horse. Any ideas? I do not want to put any information up on the board but i will gladly give it to you over PM
