I am trying to find the right saddle for one of my horses (I have 3 horses but looking for one saddle right now). She is a 15.3 QH/TB blend and has a nice confo. She is rather leggy and somewhat wide in the check and hindquarters. I will post a pic





I have tried two saddles and they were just cheapies and now I am ready to move into a better quality saddle.

I like the Australian Stock Saddle and I have a knock off and she seems to like it but it seemed a tad narrow for her.

I am willing to pay around 3,000 and very open to suggestions.

If you are looking for a saddle to fit all three of your horses and arne't looking for a show saddle I recommend a rebecca saddle.

If you aren't wanting to go that route - get a saddle that fits your widest horse. You can always pad up for the thinner horses to make a saddle work easier than you can with a saddle that is pinching.

I know Crates saddles make a great endurance saddle - or any type saddle and they are great fits on 90% of the horses.

If you want to look into a custom saddle - none better than dave with aboutthehorse.com I wouldn't recommend anyone else in that department.

Show wise - if you can get your hands on a Harris - they seem to fit everything. They have great work saddles as well.
